I am a 36 year old, British born, Köln Mülheim based, Mama of one. My birth and postpartum experience was a mixed bag and whilst I had an empowering birth experience and I recovered physically quickly, I had underestimated the mental strain of those first few days and weeks with a new born baby. The situation wasn’t helped by me living far away from family and childhood friends and I was left feeling alone and unsure of myself. My aim is to provide support to women before, during and after birth, listening to them, reassuring them and cooking for them. I am fluent in German and also offer all my services in Deutsch. WHAT I OFFER – Pregnancy support – discuss wishes for your birth, mental preparation for your birth, prepare for postpartum etc. I can also accompany you to midwife/doctor/hospital visits if you’d like. Birth support – on call up to 10 days before the birth until you have your baby. When you go into labour I will be by your side and will not leave until your baby is born. I can provide photographs if desired and a birth story. Postpartum support – I come to your home and help you settle into parenthood. I cook food for you and your family, provide emotional support for you and your partner and help guide you on your journey.
